The larger flower is from Teiko Fujito's book Tatted Fashion, whilst the smaller flowers are from Rebecca Jone's book The Complete Book of Tatting.
The chain was made from repeating a half stitch in the same way that a Josephone knot is made (without the knot aspect of course).

Your necklace is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! You may have inspired me to make one.....
ReplyDeleteSimply GORGEOUS!!!
ReplyDeleteVery Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love it. I am having trouble with the chain. Did you shuttle or needle tat? I am just starting to try Needle tatting (been shuttle tatting for about 5 years) and my spiral ends up being VERY close together.
ReplyDeleteHi all
ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comments.
Coretta, it was done via a shuttle (I've never tried needle tatting). The chain was very easy to do and sits better than if it was made via a double stitch.
I'm happy to give further directions if you wanted to email me directly on vanessagoss@hotmail.com
Kind regards
Vanessa
