About Me

My photo
Hi. I live in Canberra, Australia, and started tatting early in 2009. Consequently, I've now caught the 'tatting bug' and hope to be infected for a long while.

Pear tree

This tree started out as a lemon tree, but my family assure me that it looks more like a pear tree. So.....a pear tree it is!!

The tree is now mounted as the centre piece of a wall hanging that I have made. Shall post other pictures later.

The leaves were designed by Ruth Scharf and the fruit is from Karey Solomon's book Tree of Life . The trunk and branches were designed by me...my first design :)

  1. Very pretty! I like the way you have arranged the branches and the leaves are very finely made.

  3. Very nicely done! I'm not sure I could tell the difference between a lemon tree and a pear tree, but I guess it doesn't really matter... it's beautiful!

  4. You've done a great job. Very nice design. I really like the way the limbs get more delicate as you near the leaves and the variety in sizes of the leaves.
